Standardization across all platforms is how Google puts it.

I'm not defending their decision, just explaining their rationale. Standardization decreases their costs, enhances future upgrade issues and, in Google's opinion, the new format is more attractive and superior to the old.

I've grown accustomed to it now, know where to find most things and for the most part have forgotten about the old format - except, of course, for the few pieces of the puzzle that were in the old format but for some reason are inexplicably absent from the new.

If I had to use just one word to describe this new format it would be 'interesting'. I know that many would prefer Rod's description - 'Dung'!!Rickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16523089898331291694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6192913928006796095.post-14792199630163994022012-04-05T10:19:45.018-05:002012-04-05T10:19:45.018-05:00Not everyone is interested in an antiseptically cl...Not everyone is interested in an antiseptically clean page, and I don't know why they insist on forcing it.Gypsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18052445200220681513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6192913928006796095.post-74414876007209466362012-04-05T10:05:46.335-05:002012-04-05T10:05:46.335-05:00Hang in there, Rod.
