Myself I do not like crowds, period and every time I read about Q it's an uneasy feeling of tooooo close!! That's why I don't like RV parks, either... We have lots of room out here on the ranch; the closest neighbor is about 3/4 MILE away; a mile & 1/2 around the road!!! Why doesn't Loyce ride with you on the Honda?? My niece & her husband went to Maine a couple of years ago on their's and he 'walked' it thru Manhattan at quitting time!!! Hope today's a good'un!!!butterbean carpenternoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6192913928006796095.post-23003481952448578242013-01-25T11:10:01.141-06:002013-01-25T11:10:01.141-06:00I've been to Q once, and I found that there wa...I've been to Q once, and I found that there was way too much there with the result that I just got confused. At least I can see from your pictures that not much has changed. Have you driven through Mesa Spirit lately? It was really empty when Paul was there last month. They are putting in these fancy type park models (or maybe their called trailer models)that cost big bucks (at least in my opinion). Will only be here 2 weeks then head for Desert Hot Springs. We thought we might hit Quartzsite, but we have two dogs who do not enjoy wandering around with people and it would be too long of a day to leave them in the RV.
You are from our part of the country. Graduated high school in KCK, and our son lives in Lenexa, which is now just a part of the big citycathiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10624784808773592019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6192913928006796095.post-1183011990609267872013-01-25T00:40:37.356-06:002013-01-25T00:40:37.356-06:00There's a certain part of me that wouldn't...There's a certain part of me that wouldn't mind a trip through the "Big Tent", but I think I'd lose interest in a hurry if there were too many gawkers. At least there wasn't such a crowd when you were there.
Interesting that the manager of your previous RV place was willing to hear you out.
Like you say though, "that ship has sailed", so getting unhappy campers (so to speak) to come back will certainly be a challenge.
