Hanging back, until!

I was hanging back around here not wanting to tax myself too much today.  It was Friday, and the noon luncheon was on up at the activity center.  I didn’t look to see what the soup was so as not to tempt myself into straining my back.

And I was doing a good job of resting for recovery, until it got to be around 5 PM.  That is when I got a wild hair to go back out to the Toyota dealer and look at the gun metal gray Camary that I had spotted two days ago.

Ridding in the truck out there hurt the bad spot like crazy.  Loyce drove, as she is doing much better than I am.  But still the truck feels every indentation in the road. Ouch!

Well one thing led to another, and we made what we thought was a good deal, and we now own the Camary.  It is brand new.  I said I wasn’t ever going to buy another new car since we had such an education in used ones this past summer.  So,  I lied! 

We do not know how the insurance will settle out on the Corolla, and should they not total the car we will be in biggggggggggg trouble.  So I might have over stepped.   But there is no way that the Corolla could be fixed by the time we want to go home, and I really do not want that car back anyway.  Not as a wrecked rebuild.

So now I am sitting here with a badly overtaxed sore back, from not staying put and resting like I should.  I guess I never did learn to color between the lines.
