We have slipped off to the hide out..... But not until after hijacking two of the grand daughters.... They are singing away in the lower level of this cabin as I type this....
My headlight repair on the hobby car lasted nicely until I turned on the headlights.. That was last Saturday night.. And WHAMMO the dash lit up like a christmas tree.... with error messages.......! But folks, you were supposed to fix it.....
Of course they couldn't get it back in to work on it again for a couple of weeks.... But some deeper questioning revealed that the problem wasn't working on the car, but rather they were out of loaner vehicles....
Hey, I can get by without being loaned a vehicle, just get it fixed.... So they took it in last Wednesday... Their computer told them it was the same part they replaced last time.... This time they checked the part out carefully and found it to be good... Well since it was brand new...
Gotta keep the car overnight....... and then yesterday it was decided to put an entire new headlight assembly in... Of course that has to come from somewhere else... Germany??
Well anyway we left town in a Ford, which only has a rattle in its seat... And guess what, it made it all the way to Lake Ozark.. Maybe I'll go ride the little moped...... If it will start, LOL.
The holiday traffic around the lake is zooming, and riding scooters seems like taking your life into their hands......
We have family coming and it will get hectic with 5 grands under one roof.....
Have a nice Labor Day........ If I don't get back to this tablet....

Have a great week-end. The grands should keep you more than busy. If you decide to ride the scooter - you be careful.
