We went to Oracle last fall on the first trip that I took with the Goldwing club.... There is a Steak House in the center of town and many of our riders enjoy their meals.....
The shorter way is to head South from Superior on 177 to Winkelman, but we are looking for a riding experience, and not shortest distance between points..... So lets include Globe in the circle....
Chet posted 60 pictures but I will only repost a few, including the new header at the top of the blog...
Arizona was again quite breath taking.....
I am the tiny front wheeled trike way down the hill......
Once I got the menu I remembered the burger specialty... and broke down and ordered it... Its a hamburger with pulled pork mixed on top.... With bar be cue sauce and the rest of the trimmings... Better not do that every day....
You know how there is always someone that gets jilted with his lunch order that doesn't get cooked on time? We have a new game.. Everyone tosses a quarter in a cup, and the fellow that gets served last gets the cup with the money in it... This fellow only waited about another minute or so for his meal and got 19 quarters to help with his bill...
It rained over the weekend and sadly the bike had to remain parked... Once in the car, it was groceries and boring household errands on Saturday...
We had a great ride scheduled for a reenactment from the civil war on Sunday and then onto Greasewood flats for a meal, but alas they were both out in the desert with some gravel roads that were muddy during the rain... So they cancelled it.....
And I had decided not to go even before that as the Can Am has a belt drive that can be damaged from rocks.... Their rule is if its gravel, don't do it!
So that was the end of that...

Saw an awful motorcycle wreck yesterday north of Wickenburg--it was raining--looked to be a Gold Wing, the guy didn't make it. Ride very, very carefully Rod--we bloggers out here care about you!!
