An update on Rod....

After testing and consulting with Rod's oncologist last week, he entered the care of hospice. His wish is to be cared for at home & we are doing the best job we can to honor him. We are focusing on our family and living. Saturday he had a visit from ham radio friends from Des Moines. Tuesday Rod took a ride in his '48 chevy. Yesterday he was able to visit with his favorite pastor. We plan to celebrate his birthday next with his favorite, a lemon meringue pie. 

This will probably be our last update for a while.  We appreciate continued prayers for him and our family as we care for him.
