Thank You

To each and every one of you that have left emails, and comments on the blog as well as messages and comments on Facebook, I thank you from the bottom of my heart....

Loyce was a special person to everyone she met....    She was a person to stick to herself a lot of the time, but she loved everyone she met or had the chance to take care of in her work as an RN..

Please know that your thoughts and comments are an offering of strength to myself and our family...  And above all else, all we really have in this life is each other...

  1. I have to confess, I've been thinking of you off and on all day. Just can't get my head around how sudden that was.
    Hang in there.

  2. Me too Rod. I don't know you at all but I thought about you all day. What a shock to your family. I guess for Loyce, she is singing with the angels but wow, some warning would have been easier...maybe.

  3. You have been in my thoughts and prayers throughout this day. I am still in shock. She may have been a person to stay to herself but never when she was around me. She will always hold a special spot in my heart.

  6. It has been on my mind all day too --it just goes to show the Lord is in control of our destiny and we need to be ready at all times-- I am sure she was. I never had the pleasure of meeting her but from all the things you talked about she did I am sure she was a special person to a lot of people. Rod, again I wanted to convey my sincere sympathy on the loss of your Loyce. I don't think I can fully comprehend what a profound loss that is. I know that you both had a strong and loving relationship. I know that you will have the strength to get through this very sad and difficult time. Lean upon the Lord and you will find he will give you comfort. If I can be of any help, do not hesitate to call upon me.

  7. Rod,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my husband unexpectedly in a motorcycle accident 7 years ago. I understand how hard this can be. Take care of Biscuit and be safe. I hope you decided to continue your RV travels. Julie in Oregon

  10. You've been on my mind all day, too. Started my day off with a shock. Have been a follower of yours for years; sure wasn't prepared for this. My heart goes out to you and your family. Just reinforces for all of us how fragile-----and precious-----life is. You will never be without Loyce, though. After all those years, she is a part of who you are...........forever. Best wishes.

  11. I have also been thinking about you since I read the sad news yesterday morning. :'( I understand what a shock it is to lose a loved one suddenly and unexpectedly, as we lost my dad in a similar way a few years ago. You are in my thoughts and prayers Rod.

  13. Paulette and I have been thinking about the wonderful time we spent with you and Loyce at the Sands RV Resort in Palm Springs just a few years ago. We were talking about this yesterday and how nice, kind and thoughtful Loyce was. Paulette loved talking to Loyce about her two passions - her wonderful family and her quilting!

Take care, Rod, we're all thinking of you.
