Am so very sorry for your loss. Have enjoyed his adventures, with Loyce by his side and later with Biscuit. His story of Biscuit and the vacuum (u know the round, automatic thing, what is that called??) was a treasure and one I tell people all the time, but the way he told it in the blog was hilarious, kept me laughing for days.... So very sorry he is gone............
Oh, we are so sorry to hear about Rod's passing. He was such a great guy. Thoughts and prayers to all of the family....heaven just received another angel. Gregg & Lynette McHenry
I am so sorry to hear of Rod's passing. Although I never met him, I always enjoyed reading his stories. He always seemed to have such a zest for life. I'm sure he is happy to be reunited with his beloved Loyce. May God's comfort be with all Rod's loved ones that mourn his loss. Rest in peace, Rod.
Rest In Peace, Rod ........ I know you gave it the good fight, now you are at peace with the Lord....Loyce was waiting for you...... that is a happy ending for all of us ...... You will be missed and your adventures are still shared among us ...... e.g. " The Rumba " !!! To Rod's Sons and families, thoughts and prayers come your way. Your Dad was special !
We always enjoyed reading Rod's blog and having the opportunity to put a face to the stories at last years Blogger Fest was really nice. We had a great talk and ended the day walking back to our vehicles together. Our impression during that short visit was what a nice gentleman. Our sincere condolences to Rod's family. May he Rest in Peace.
Rod was a real sweetheart. To read what he wrote, you had to love him. So much fun and so sincere, was he. I share your grief at losing him. Thank you for keeping his readers in the loop.
So sorry for your loss we always enjoyed his postings and feel so privileged that he took the time to stop by and spend more than a hour with us last winter the day before he came out for Bloggerfest. And we realized that we had so much in common. What a special man he was and will surely be missed by us all.
We are very sorry to hear about Rod. We loved reading about his motorcycle adventures. Thankfully he enjoyed life to the fullest extent he could. Our thoughts are with you all. We were never able to meet Loyce, Rod and Biscuit in person, but Rod did a good job on his blog keeping us up to date through the years. Our sincere sympathy and empathy. It is never easy losing loved ones.
There are never any words that can really give comfort at a time like this. I am sorry for this great loss of this wonderful man. He will be greatly missed in so many ways. Please know that that so many of us cared deeply and draw on this to get you all through the days ahead. RIP my dear friend.
I was so sad to read this, but Rod I know is dancing in heaven now.
I only knew Rod from his postings here on his blog. He had been traveling long before I did. I didn't comment much, but I enjoyed the read. I will miss that.
