It was for real!

Damaging, life-threatening tornadoes hit many towns from Nebraska through Oklahoma on Saturday. A late night tornado hit Woodward, OK causing extensive damage.

I finally went to sleep about 2 AM as most of it had passed us by then.   But the wind is still blowing at noon today....

  1. Glad you didn't whirl away in the night. Although we are a little tired of our snow we are thankful that the weather here is a little more settled than down south with all our friends.

  4. I have a cousin that lives in central Kansas and her town was wiped out before. I hope she is OK, I have not yet head back from her. What kind of motor home do you have? I see one in the background of the picture on your profile. I have a Newmar Dutch Star 3815.

  5. Glad to see your covering the west end of the state, we have had a pretty good day so far, no rain, and no severe thunderstorms like they predicted. I see they are starting to use the new warnings on severe weather. Can't wait to see the one flash across the TV screen that says hold onto your As-..Or time to bend backwards and do a double backflip and disappear. Be safe out there, Sam & Donna.... PS stand clear of all catwalks, and weather decks, due to high winds and heavy seas.Remember that one Ron...
