Raining and heading North

It rained most of last night and then all day today...  We are parked on gravel, and it is gravel all the way to the asphalt, so we should be good to go in the morning...

We made a reservation up in Sault Ste Marie, which is North of here about 60 miles or so, so we will cross over the Mackinac Bridge.  It is a toll bridge and will cost $4 for the car and $5 per axle for the motorhome..  This will make no difference whether the two are hitched together or being driven separate...  Loyce will probably drive separate..

She doesn't mind following, as long as we have relatively short days planned..  We talk back and forth on the hand held radios... And she will often block the traffic so I can change lanes and such...

They had a tornado warning up in the Soo area today, so we hope that is out of its system....  But it is to continue to rain thru the weekend..

This has been a slow day, as we just read and made breakfast with the long coffee time for most of the morning, and drove back over to Cheboygan in the afternoon just as something to do...  We went to Wal Mart over there, but didn't really buy anything absolutely necessary...

Once back here in Mackinaw City we went to a Ma and Pa older restaurant and had club sandwiches, that we could have made at home..  But they had big windows that looked out into the lake...  With the rain storm, we couldn't see much, but on a clear day you would have been able to see the islands..

Again we will only be moving about an hour and a half North, so tomorrow should be rather laid back...
